One of my favorite collabs yet! Because.. prom themed and I may be semi depressed that I won't ever go to another prom. But dress up is always fun!
She Said Yes Prom & Bridal partnered with me to bring you a prom look by Sherri Hill. I spent the morning at their shop trying on gorgeous dresses with the owner Myka and felt like a total princess the whole time. She's the sweetest and helped me find the perfect dress.
I've always been a fan of Sherri Hill - the brand has dresses for every taste and trend. I chose this classic black (it's pretty much my go-to color for everything..) two piece style that is SO popular right now. The fit was perfect and accentuated the waist which is always a plus. Oh.. and the absolute best part and probably the top reason I got this one was the pockets built into the skirt! You can't say no to pockets in a gown. Too convenient.
I also was fortunate enough to partner with Jacque Shirley - a hair and makeup artist in Fayetteville. We worked with a couple of updo options and she prettied me up with her fab makeup skills. So fun! You can book her for normal hair treatments and special events - contact info below!

I may have loathed the 90's style during the 90's but it's one of the best trends right now! Vintage denim + graphic tees and small grunge accents are the way to go! I love this ripped vintage tank from Life Clothing Co. + my go to vintage Levi's! Links to these products below.

The Chills Off The Shoulder Sweater IS as cozy as it looks. This knit will keep you warm and on trend during the colder months. I wore it as a dress and paired it with thigh-high black boots + a black fedora! Such a simple look that can be taken to casual in a heartbeat. Try it with black leggings and vans for a casual weekend or denim and brown booties for a whole new look. Links to the merch below! xx, M
The lines between a bathing suit top, sports bra and crop top are quickly becoming blurred. Mix and match your favorite beach and gym pieces with your maxi skirts and high-waisted denim! It's a fun trend and an easy way to get more life out of your favorite staple pieces. More on this look below. xx, M

The famous pink wall finally! Wall art of any kind always interests me so a stop at the Paul Smith store on Melrose was on my list while I was in California this summer. My favorite MUMU shorts were perfect for the day as it was literally 100 degrees and boiling hot outside. They're super breezy and lightweight making for the perfect summer short. Shop their multiple prints at ShowMeYourMuMu.com xx, M
